15 August 2026 By Sankar Kumar

Netlink Solutions (India) has reported a sharp decline in its standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2026. The company's net profit fell by 75.29% compared to the same period last year, reflecting challenging market conditions and increased operational costs. According to the company's financial statement, the net profit for the quarter stood at ₹1.5 crore, down from ₹6.1 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The revenue from operations also witnessed a significant drop, declining by 68.4% year-on-year to ₹4.8 crore, compared to ₹15.2 crore in the June 2025 quarter. This steep fall in revenue is attributed to lower demand in the company's key business segments and a slowdown in project executions. The company's total income for the quarter, including other income, was ₹5.2 crore, down from ₹15.8 crore in the year-ago period.

On the expense side, total expenses decreased by 66.7% to ₹3.4 crore from ₹10.2 crore, but the decline in revenue outpaced cost savings, leading to a compressed profit margin. The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) margin contracted to 12.5% from 25.3% in the previous year, indicating reduced operational efficiency.

Analysts say the sharp decline in profitability reflects broader industry headwinds, including rising input costs and competitive pricing pressures. The company's stock has also reacted negatively, with shares trading lower by 8.2% following the announcement. Market observers remain cautious about the near-term outlook, citing uncertain demand environment and potential further margin erosion.

"The significant drop in net profit and revenue highlights the challenging operating environment for the company, with no immediate signs of recovery," said a market analyst.

Looking ahead, the company's management is focusing on cost rationalisation and exploring new growth avenues to mitigate the impact. However, given the current market volatility, the road to recovery may be gradual. Investors are advised to monitor the company's performance in the coming quarters for any signs of stabilisation.
